2018 AMRA Technology Summit

The Automotive Maintenance and Repair Association (AMRA) hosted a Technology Summit in Chicago Illinois. The purpose of the event was to bring industry leaders in the technology segment together to discuss how to utilize technology to increase transparency and trust to the motorist. Topics varied from digital Inspections to data warehousing, connected equipment in addition Information collection and presentation.  This year’s lineup included Identifix, Epicor, Bolt On Technology, Hunter Engineering, Virtual Vehicle, Moto LOGIC Auto Vitals, and All Data. The summit included presentations and demonstrations of products and services for service providers to implement into their operational processes. “We are very excited about this new event for AMRA, I believe we have a great opportunity to bring industry experts together to help our members improve the way they service the motorist. This event focused on technology but with the success of the summit we plan to extent the topics to others that related to the motorist experience” said AMRA’s CEO Al Wheeler.  As part of AMRA’s Roadmap to 2020 the association will continue to explore new platforms to better connect their members to solve for challenges the automotive industry faces.
